
Description
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Product Administrator to manage and maintain product data, provide administrative support, facilitate new products and engineering change notice routings and ensure product related processes are efficient and accurate. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, service-minded, computer-savvy and takes pride in doing excellent work. Experience in the lighting industry, a plus.
Responsibilities
Data Management
• Inputs, maintains and updates product and pricing information in various systems ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinates communications with multiple departments on new product releases and engineering change notices to ensure all departments update processes, systems, files, etc.
• Audits databases, websites, product catalogs, packaging, etc. to ensure data, text and pricing integrity.
• Manage and remove obsolete products/options.
• Provides administrative support to product design and supply chain teams.
• Identifies areas for improvement in product and or pricing related processes.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed
Required Skills & Experience
• Proficient using ERP systems, NetSuite preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong numeracy skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Communicate effectively by telephone.
• Shows ability to multitask and problem solve with strong analytical skills
• Eye for detail and consistency
• Uses initiative when prioritizing workload
• Strong team player who can work with a diverse team
• Proactive and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and set priorities.
• Is inquisitive, thinks logically and conceptually.
• Can establish priorities and handle many projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in the lighting industry or with a lighting product line (e.g., LED fixtures, retrofits, recessed lighting)
$23-27 an hour
