Kelly is seeking a Product Marketing Associate to work for our client, a leader in the plant healthcare industry, on a direct hire basis in Woburn. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with the development, positioning, and lifecycle management of the company's innovative solutions and to champion products that promote tree and plant vitality, improve sustainability, and meet customer needs across diverse markets including arboriculture, horticulture, landscape, and turf care.
Specifically, the Product Marketing Associate will:
- Own and manage the entire lifecycle of assigned products—from concept and development through launch, maturity, and end-of-life
- Lead cross-functional teams (R&D, sales, operations, marketing) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify trends and pain points in plant health care and develop appropriate product solutions
- Translate customer feedback into actionable product enhancements or new product opportunities
- Develop pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies aligned with market needs and company goals
- Collaborate with marketing to create educational and sales support materials (e.g., sell sheets, training decks, product labels, SDS sheets, digital assets)
- Train internal sales teams and channel partners on product features, benefits, and applications
- Support trade shows, webinars, field demos, and technical presentations
- Work closely with regulatory and R&D teams to ensure all products meet applicable compliance and efficacy standards
- Serve as the product expert, helping resolve technical issues and acting as a liaison between the field and technical teams
- Bachelor's degree in Plant Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field
- 2+ years of product management experience, preferably in plant health care, agriculture, horticulture, turf management, or similar field
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive cross-functional alignment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with regulatory processes (EPA, OMRI, etc.) for plant health products
- Experience working with biologicals, fertilizers, biostimulants, or pesticide delivery systems
- Knowledge of market segments such as golf course management, municipal forestry, landscaping, or nursery production
- Experience with project management software, as well as proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools
