Why you should apply to be a Production Floater

  • Pay Rate: $19 per hour
  • Location: 175 Industrial Dr Northampton MA 01060
  • Schedule: 6AM to 2:30PM Monday to Friday

What's a typical day as a Production Floater? You will:
• Work Safely
• Load proper finished materials based off packing lists provided by Production Planner
• Perform quality checks to ensure proper labeling to jars, boxes, pallets etc.
• Ensure excess finished good are returned to proper storage area
• Perform weekly checks to maintain proper packaging material inventory
• Operate a forklift to move pallets of raw materials, totes filled with powder, etc
• Will need to operate equipment at elevated heights occasionally (ladders/platforms)
• Pack finished goods to be shipped including strapping and shrink wrapping
• Load/unload trucks as needed
• Maintain work areas and equipment
• Other duties as assigned
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
• High School Diploma/GED/equivalent
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility preferred
• Team player
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
• Reliable transportation to/from work
