Description

Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Wilsonville, OR
Pay Rate: $21.85/hr

Position Overview:
We are seeking an entry-level Production Operator to support routine manufacturing and production tasks in a fast-paced environment. Under close supervision, this role performs repetitive operations that may include wire straightening, grinding, assembly, and coil production. Most tasks involve sitting for 60–75% of the shift, though some may require standing for the full duration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine production operations such as wire straightening, grinding, assembly, and/or coil production.

  • Follow detailed instructions and standard procedures to ensure consistent product quality.

  • Record production measurements and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Use basic power tools and production equipment safely.

  • Conduct inspections on very small parts, both visually and with a microscope.

  • Measure small wires and materials using rulers and other measurement tools.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications:
  1. 1–2 years of machining experience preferred.

  2. Strong documentation and record-keeping skills with high attention to detail.

  3. Basic math skills, including ability to calculate product and material measurements.

  4. Ability to count, add, and subtract using both English and metric measurement systems.

  5. Ability to read and understand English for safety, documentation, and internal processes.

  6. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions provided in English.

  7. Ability to operate basic power tools and perform light lifting up to 20 lbs.

  8. Ability to measure small wires and inspect very small parts with and without a microscope.

  9. Strong manual dexterity for handling small components and performing precise production tasks.

  10. Effective communication skills.

  11. Good eyesight or corrected vision suitable for detailed work.

  12. Ability to follow instructions closely and maintain accuracy in all tasks.

  13. Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
