Job Title: Production Operator
Compensation: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Location: Russell, KS
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate machinery and processes following established routines while adhering to safety guidelines. You will need to perform adjustments as needed and accurately record and report production metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to Packer, Palletizer, Forklift, Mixer, and Extrusion machines.
- Follow prescribed routines and directions for machine operation.
- Perform adjustments to processes or machinery as necessary to ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Accurately record and report production numbers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions, including short correspondence and memos.
- Strong communication skills, both one-on-one and in group settings.
- Capable of accurately understanding, recording, and verbalizing detailed information.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions precisely.
- Punctual and reliable, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work conditions.
- Basic math skills to perform necessary calculations.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and compliance protocols.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional Requirements:
- Steel-toed shoes are required for the duration of employment.
