Job Title: Production Operator I
Location: Wilsonville, OR, 97070
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr + 10% shift differential = $20.90/hr
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator I to join the manufacturing team in Wilsonville, OR. This entry-level position performs routine, repetitive production operations under close supervision and supports various manufacturing processes such as wire straightening, grinding, assembly, and coil production. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work with small components in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform routine production operations of a repetitive nature with accuracy and efficiency

Support manufacturing processes including wire straightening, grinding, assembly, and coil production

Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and standard operating procedures

Accurately record production data, measurements, and required documentation

Inspect small components and finished products to ensure quality standards are met

Use rulers, measuring tools, and microscopes to measure and inspect small wires and parts

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
-
Utilize basic power tools and perform light lifting and carrying as required

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Most positions require sitting 60–75% of the time; some positions require standing 100% of the shift

Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain focus on detailed work
-
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds

Good manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools

Good eyesight or appropriately corrected vision required for detailed inspection work

1–2 years of machining or manufacturing experience preferred

Strong documentation skills and attention to detail when recording work and measurements

Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction

Ability to work with both English and metric measurement systems

Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety, instructions, and documentation

Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Experience using basic power tools preferred

Ability to measure small wires and inspect very small parts with and without a microscope

Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small components accurately

Ability to read blueprints is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions consistently
