Production Supervisor
Location: Harrisburg, NC
Status: Full-time | Salaried Exempt | Permanent
Salary Range: $56,000 – $66,500 annually (based on experience)
Schedule: 7AM-7PM OR 7PM-7AM - This is a 2-2-3 schedule

A well-established manufacturing facility in Harrisburg, NC that specializes in corrosion-resistant metal treatment is seeking a driven and experienced Production Supervisor. This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations across multiple departments.
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees, executing daily production schedules, maintaining safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with the Production Manager to drive productivity and uphold product quality while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Execute production schedules and instructions from the Production Manager

Supervise and coordinate the work of employees across multiple departments

Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and quality standards

Interview, train, and coach team members

Address and resolve production issues in real time
-
Maximize output while maintaining accuracy and quality

Ensure accurate inventory tracking and process compliance

Recommend improvements in equipment, staffing, and workflow
-
Partner with Maintenance to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of machinery

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
-
Adapt workforce levels and scheduling to meet production demands

Encourage teamwork and promote a culture of accountability and excellence
Required:
-
Prior experience supervising teams in a manufacturing or production setting

Strong time management and multitasking capabilities

Proven ability to lead, train, and develop staff

Initiative-driven with a sense of urgency and ownership

Comfortable working flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Effective communicator with a respectful, solution-oriented leadership style
Preferred:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience coordinating complex workflows across departments
