What's a typical day as Production Supervisor Material Handling? You'll be:
- Supervising UAW employees in the processing of all inbound material for putaway and ensuring timely deliveries based on dock grid time.
- Overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including managing the supershift concept with inbound operations at 10:30 am and outbound operations at 1:30 pm.
- Working the 1:30 pm shift and expected to complete daily and weekend overtime while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Hold a BS Degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering.
- Have prior supervision experience of UAW employees and some warehousing experience, with an understanding of lean practices and concepts.
- Are proficient in Excel and have a working knowledge of MS Office, with experience in SAP systems and inventory management preferred.
