QC Analyst I/II– Environmental Monitoring-Southwest Houston, TX
Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a QC Analyst I/II with experience in Environmental Monitoring (EM) within a GMP setting to join our client's Quality Control team located in southwest Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with environmental sampling and monitoring, be comfortable working in cleanroom environments, and have a strong understanding of GMP and GDP principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform Environmental Monitoring (EM) activities, including viable and non-viable air and surface sampling, in accordance with GMP regulations.
• Conduct gowning qualification and maintain compliance with cleanroom procedures.
• Operate and maintain test equipment used in EM activities.
• Accurately document results following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Work in a GMP-controlled cleanroom environment for extended periods while adhering to strict procedural guidelines.
• Assist with data entry and analysis related to environmental monitoring results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Experience with EM software is a plus but not required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• BA/BS degree in Biology (Microbiology a plus).
• Prior experience performing Environmental Monitoring in a GMP setting.
• Ability to pass and maintain gowning qualification requirements.
• Strong understanding of GMP and GDP principles and their application in a QC setting.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment for extended periods.
• Experience operating environmental monitoring and sampling equipment.
Job Details:
• 6 month contract possibly longer
• Monday-Friday, day shift
• Pay rate dependent upon level of education and experience
