Are you a detail-oriented chemist with a passion for quality and precision? Our team is looking for a QC Chemist I to support pharmaceutical manufacturing by performing critical lab testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products. This is a contract-to-hire, lab-based role, in a GMP-regulated environment.
Title: QC Chemist I
Location: Chaska, MN
Rate: $25-27/hr.
Schedule: 2pm-12:30am | Mon-Thursday

Summary:
- The QC Chemist I will ensure accurate, reproducible and timely QC testing in directly supporting in process manufacturing, release testing, and stability studies.
- Perform testing on in-process product, final product, and raw materials for routine testing, validation testing, and stability testing
- Communicate results through appropriate documentation and batch records, statistical analysis and trending.
- Perform instrument maintenance
- Identify and report equipment and method failures
- Identify areas in the lab for continuous improvement
- Participate in method improvements in the laboratory
Requirements:
- BS in Chemistry or related life science
- Experience in GMP lab applications
- Basic understanding of chemical technology and methodology
- Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
- Proven ability to work independently as well as function effectively as a team member
- Proven ability to maintain a high attention to detail
