Quality Inspector (2nd Shift)

Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM | Status: Long-term Temporary (Training Provided)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure product integrity in our extrusion facility. You will be responsible for real-time oversight, performing dimensional tests, and verifying that all tubing meets strict visual and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precision Testing: Use video microscopes and measurement software to verify tubing dimensions.

  • Production Oversight: Perform line clearances, check materials/branding, and approve production starts.

  • Visual Inspection: Identify defects (burns, scratches, color) to ensure 100% compliance.

  • Documentation: Review production records and generate Certificates of Conformance (CoC).

  • Collaboration: Escalate quality issues and support ISO/audit compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Skills: Proficient in MS Office; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience: Prior Quality Inspection or ISO-regulated in manufacturing environments.

  • Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for the duration of the shift.

  • Flexibility: Must be able to work 2nd shift (open to covering 1st or 3rd shift absences as needed. Plus occasional weekends)
