Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Tech for our client in Bedford Park, IL. Candidates must have excellent work history, in a metals or forging environment. Must have experience with:
- PPAP, FMEA, APQP and GD&T
- Inspection equipment
- Engineering drawings
This is a Direct Hire, Permanent position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Job details:
Pay: $25 - $28/hr
Hours: 6am – 2:30pm
Position summary:
- Experience with PPAP, FMEA, APQP and GD&T a must.
- Perform dimensional studies, layouts and capability studies and summarize results.
- Implement, monitor and control of corrective actions.
- Participate in customer RMA's/complaint investigations.
- Document control
- Maintain gauge calibrations.
- Practice safe work habits and follow safety rules.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge and Experience using inspection equipment (calipers, height gages, etc.)
- Knowledge of PPAP & ISIR reporting
- Have a continual improvement mindset.
- Solid working knowledge using various software (SPC, as well as Office)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
