A Direct Hire Opportunity

Overview:
This position reports to the Quality Assurance and Lab Manager and is responsible for researching, developing, and documenting critical quality processes such as process/software validations, procedures, risk assessments, and PFMEAs. The role supports all aspects of lab, operations, engineering, and quality departments by executing and managing testing and validation protocols and maintaining the facility's master validation plan. Acts as the coordinator for Management of Change (MOC) activities and facilitates continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Math required
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing with FDA-quality system standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP, Power BI, and MS Dynamics preferred
  • Experience in GMP (Cosmetics/Pharmaceuticals) and quality certifications (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) preferred

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research, develop, lead, and document process validations, SOPs, and risk assessments
  • Perform data analysis and trending for process validation, root cause investigation and CAPA, and continuous improvements
  • Support and update PFMEA documents and conduct risk assessments for equipment and processes
  • Coordinate and ensure compliance with ISO management system and layered audit programs
  • Oversee site calibration, maintenance, and documentation of quality measurement equipment
  • Initiate and support Management of Change (MOC) per company requirements
  • Lead and support quality improvement activities, including root cause investigations and reporting
  • Collaborate on process and product innovation with engineering and operations teams
  • Support compliance with certifications and regulations: SQF, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, RC14001/EHS&S
  • Develop and update SOPs to ensure consistent operational results and production outcomes
  • Maintain and analyze process data for statistical trending and validation monitoring
  • Train and support staff on quality, GMP, food safety procedures, and participate in internal/external audits
  • Address customer concerns promptly and adhere to company guidelines for safety, quality, and code of conduct
