Pay rate: $16.00hour or more depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm  
Term: Temp to perm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accept or reject product, materials, or articles; identify and document nonconformance to engineering, specifications, & standards and notify appropriate personnel of potential rejection of items.
  • Report discrepancies to Supervision and Management.
  • Document inspection results of multiple product lines through the completion of reports and logs.
  • Perform mathematical functions for weight measurements, torque conversions, and dimensional measurements.
  • Ensure measurement equipment is well maintained and operating accurately.
  • Perform visual inspection, continuity and/or resistance testing on various cables, harnesses, and connectors.
  • Measure machined products utilizing comparators, calipers, micrometers, visual measurement devices, pin gauges, etc.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
  • Track/record job progress and deficiencies daily in both written and electronic formats.
  • Accurately record product information, traceability requirements, labor hours, and other statistics into computer databases to comply with company requirements.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Must have keen attention to detail and quality.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, except under abnormal circumstances.
  • Must be proficient with data entry, and the use of computer resources.
  • Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions and interpret drawings, schematics, specifications, and standards.
  • IPC Certification to standard 620 and/or J-STD-001.
  • Ability to accurately use required measuring tools (ring gauge, pin gauge, micrometer, etc.) and perform basic mathematical functions.
