QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
Location: Canandaigua, NY
Full-Time | On-Site
Pay Range: $16.00 – $30.00 per hour (Based on experience)

We're looking for a Quality Control Inspector to play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. You'll inspect complex components, perform critical tests, and ensure our products meet the highest industry standards—before they ever reach a customer. What You'll Do

  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished assemblies
  • Use advanced tools: micrometers, calipers, CMMs, vision systems, profilometers, comparators, and more
  • Perform SPC analysis and enter inspection results in digital databases
  • Certify welds and brazed assemblies (internal certification required)
  • Ensure traceability and proper documentation through our ERP system (Syteline)
  • Prepare quality paperwork for customer shipments (including DSQR documentation)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality
  • Identify non-conformances, write clear reports, and help ensure quality from start to finish
What You Bring
  • Experience with precision manufacturing or machining (min. 3 years preferred)
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T
  • Hands-on proficiency with quality tools and inspection equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control and basic data analysis
  • Comfortable navigating ERP systems (Syteline experience a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma required
  • Associates Degree or Technical Certification preferred
  • 3+ years in quality inspection or a related manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Able to stand for extended periods during inspection tasks
  • Visual acuity required for detecting irregularities and detail work
