QC Technician 
| Temp to Hire | Los Angeles, CA | $28/hr differential | Kelly is hiring a QC Technician for a leading industrial coating manufacturing facility in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a background in adhesives and laboratory testing such as viscosity. This is a temp to hire role, paying $28/hr + $2/hr between the hours of 2pm-5am and the schedule is TBD. 

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
- Maintain quality control records and data entry in LIMS/Labworks and ERP/SAP software.
- Notify of nonconforming results promptly.
- Handle and replenish retained samples to prevent contamination.
- Keep lab equipment in safe working condition; submit service orders as needed.
- Ensure adequate inventory of reagents and lab supplies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly lab environment.
- Attend regular meetings and complete required training.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experiences Required:
- Associate degree in science, chemistry, or a related field with lab coursework.
- Proficiency in wet and analytical chemistry, handling acids, bases, and solvents.
- Preferred experience in adhesives and mechanical testing.
- Knowledge of safe lab practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP.
- Strong work ethic, good attendance, and effective teamwork.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow EHS policies.
- Flexible shifts/hours.
