Schedule Shift: (3rd Shift) 10PM – 6AM.

Job Type: 6 months contract (Potential of conversion as full time employee based on candidate's performance and business needs)

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Quality Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:

  • Perform daily record reviews to ensure all quality and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Perform daily food sensory evaluation.
  • Handle all quality and food safety production holds and product releases.
  • Deliver food safety and food quality training for facility team members.
  • Work with production to find solutions to problems resulting in out-of-specification products or product holds.
  • Perform routine audits of HACCP documentation and processes.
  • Take routine microbiological samples.
  • Perform pre-operational line inspection.
  • Provide guidance to quality assurance technicians, team managers, and line lead personnel based on historical situational experiences (no direct reports).
  • Routinely climb and lift up to 50lb boxes within a multi-climate environment.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • 2+ years in a Quality Role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience within the packaging/food products industry
  • Prior HACCP experience
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Understanding of FDA regulations
