Kelly Services, a recognized leader in manufacturing career placement, is currently partnering with Johnson & Johnson, located in Irvine, CA, to hire a qualified Quality Inspector. This role will support the development and production of medical devices used in life-saving surgical procedures.

Position Title: Quality Inspector
Hourly Compensation: $28-$32 (dependent upon experience)
Comprehensive Benefits Package
Schedule Requirements: 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday
Location: Irvine, CA (on-site)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure the accuracy and compliance of manufacturing processes within a highly regulated medical device environment. This role involves inspecting production activities, reviewing Device History Records (DHRs), and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to verify that documentation and processes comply with FDA GMP and ISO 13485 standards, often within a cleanroom setting.

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Inspect manufacturing processes and review associated Device History Records (DHRs) to verify process accuracy and compliance with Good Documentation Practices.
  • Support ongoing efforts to streamline documentation processes, verification, validation activities, and product testing.
  • Verify Process Instructions, Manufacturing Operating Procedures, Process Specifications, Device Specifications, and other controlled documents against actual manufacturing operations.
  • Understand the cleanroom environment, manufacturing processes, quality functions, and corresponding documentation requirements.
  • Utilize FDA GMPs, ISO 13485 standards, and J&J's quality system procedures to assess compliance and ensure all processes and specifications are met.
  • Perform duties within a cleanroom setting, employing appropriate tools and protocols.
  • Review, organize, and file quality data records accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment and work independently on assigned tasks, managing multiple priorities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Previous experience within the medical device manufacturing industry is preferred.
