Quality Inspector – Cable & Wire Harness Assembly
Location: Norwood, MA (Relocating to Walpole, MA in 2025)
Pay Rate: $19–$22/hour (Higher DOE)
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Join a leading manufacturer in electro-mechanical and cable assembly solutions! In business since 1988 and ISO 9001 & 13485 certified, we are seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspection and testing of cable and wire harness assemblies in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards and internal work instructions. This is a full-time position with growth and advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities-
Inspect incoming materials from vendors; approve or reject based on quality standards.

Perform First Article Inspections, working closely with production and engineering to address necessary adjustments.

Escalate quality issues promptly to the Quality Manager and/or Production Manager.

Conduct final inspections of finished products, including visual and dimensional checks; verify rework as needed.

Document inspection results in logs, written reports, and digital systems.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Support additional manufacturing-related tasks as assigned.

Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities

Ability to sit or stand in a fixed position for extended periods

Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs regularly, and up to 50 lbs occasionally

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English

Familiarity with measurement instruments and test equipment

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics

Experience with wire and cable harnesses is a plus

Prior manufacturing and QA/QC experience required

Knowledge of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies highly preferred
