Position Title: R&D Product Technician
Hourly Compensation: $35.00
1st Shift: 5AM-1:30PM
1st Shift: 6AM-2:30PM

Location: Irvine, CA

Position Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and testing advanced catheter prototypes and components, ensuring they meet rigorous design and quality specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, precision, and hands-on experience with both microscope assembly and soldering techniques to work with small, intricate medical device components.

Responsibilities:

  • Must have prior experience soldering under a microscope. Soldering will involve 28–42-gauge wire, typically performed under 10X-50X magnifications.
  • Capable of working under a microscope for extended periods, maintaining focus and precision while assembling delicate components.
  • Perform product testing and rework as needed.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate instructions, ask clarifying questions, and understand technical documentation, SOP's, and visual aids.
  • Ability to work within a team environment, providing feedback, troubleshooting issues, and addressing bottlenecks with the engineering team on a daily basis.
  • Accurately record detailed observations, assembly processes, and test results, ensuring clear, organized, and precise notes for future reference and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
