Job Title: Receptionist
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Term: Temp to Hire
Location: West Melbourne, FL
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Receptionist to join an electronics manufacturing team. This position is perfect for individuals who are looking for an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment while supporting various departments. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and play a key role in ensuring smooth administrative operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide front desk coverage, answer the switchboard, greet visitors, and ensure they sign in.
- Handle mail distribution and perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and preparing metric charts and reports.
- Create and track labels for the production floor.
- Assist with purchase reports, including bond releases and purchase orders.
- Support the finance department with UPS freight bill processing as needed.
- Coordinate catering services for meetings and customer visits.
- Order and track office supplies to ensure smooth office operations.
- Provide administrative support to other departments as required.
- May assist with training other employees as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
- Prior experience in an administrative or receptionist role is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent phone etiquette.
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
- Proficient in business tools/applications (e.g., Email, Excel, MS Word).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and accurately under minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
- Must be a US Person as defined in 22 CFR Part 120.15 (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, and temporary residents granted amnesty).
