Job Title: Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Allegan, MI (Remote with Occasional On-Site Presence)
Pay Rate: $30 – $35/hour
Duration: 4-Month Maternity Leave Coverage
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to provide support during a 4-month maternity leave coverage. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and HR leaders to deliver full-cycle recruitment support, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience. The position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site presence required in Allegan, MI.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring process across multiple departments.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Write and post engaging job descriptions to attract top talent.
- Screen resumes and conducts phone interviews to assess qualifications.
- Coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide regular updates and reporting on recruitment activity and pipeline status.
- Support employer branding and candidate engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition (corporate or agency).
- Strong sourcing skills across job boards, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and hiring managers.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.
