Job Title: Recruitment Assistant (Temporary, Part-Time)
Location: Farmington, CT - On-site (Hybrid – 3 days in office per week, 2 days WFH)
Start Date: Ideally by October 27
Schedule: Part-time – 20 hours/week (4 hours per day, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM)
Compensation: Low $20s/hour, depending on experience
Duration: Approximately 2 months, with potential for extension
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Recruitment Assistant to support our ongoing internship recruitment efforts. With 28 open intern positions, you'll be instrumental in ensuring a smooth and timely hiring process.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain or expand experience in recruitment or HR, especially within a well-established, global manufacturing and technology company.
Key Responsibilities:

Support candidate tracking and communication in Workday (HRIS)

Review incoming applications and forward qualified candidates to hiring managers

Conduct phone screens using a standard script

Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers and candidates

Maintain accurate records and follow up as needed throughout the recruitment process
Requirements:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Ability to learn and work within Workday (training provided)

Highly organized with attention to detail

Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in recruitment, human resources, or administrative support

Exposure to manufacturing environments is a plus

Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), especially Workday, is a bonus
Future Potential:
While this position is temporary and focused on intern recruitment, there may be an opportunity to continue in a broader HR support role, including involvement in apprentice recruitment or other human resources functions.
