Kelly Engineering has an exciting contract to hire Replenishment Planner position with a growing medical device company in Wheeling, IL. This role offers the chance to make a real difference, with significant opportunities for growth in a supportive team environment.
The Replenishment Planner is responsible for managing inventory levels across the supply chain to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock and associated costs. This role involves analyzing sales trends, forecasting demand, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely replenishment in a fast paced medical device manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory to meet service level targets.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional plans to forecast product demand
- Create and maintain replenishment plans for assigned products or categories.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Generate purchase orders and track order status to avoid stockouts or overstocks
- Use ERP systems and planning tools to analyze inventory performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align replenishment strategies with business goals.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory health, forecast accuracy, and replenishment KPIs.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous Planner/Inventory experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with forecasting tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
