Rewind / Press Operator

Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay: $18.00/hour
Duration: Temporary (2–3 months)
Start Date: ASAP

Schedule
  • Monday – Friday

  • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • 30-minute unpaid lunch

  • Schedule is negotiable

Job Summary

Craftsman's Label is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Rewind / Press Operator to support production while a team member is on leave. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires multitasking, attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate press and rewinding equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate rewind and press machines to process label rolls

  • Rewind large rolls of labels into smaller rolls per production requirements

  • Stop, start, and monitor machines to ensure quality and safety

  • Cut down and prepare smaller rolls accurately

  • Perform general press operator duties as needed

  • Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs consistently

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Follow all safety and PPE requirements

Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently

  • Comfortable multitasking in a production environment

  • Previous press, machine operation, or manufacturing experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and reliability

  • Employment verification, background check, and drug screen required

    • 9-panel drug screen (no THC)

Dress Code / PPE
  • PPE provided (cut gloves, etc.)

  • Must wear long pants/jeans and closed-toe shoes

  • Steel-toe or composite-toe shoes preferred but not required
