Job Title: Robotics Engineer – Immediate 3-Month Contract
Location: GM Facility, Spring Hill, TN

Join our team for a dynamic, short-term project at the General Motors facility in Spring Hill, TN! We are seeking an experienced professional to program, troubleshoot, and optimize FANUC robots and Nordson dispense systems within a world-class production environment.

- Program, modify, and troubleshoot FANUC robots using GM Robotics Standard (GRS)
- Integrate and optimize Nordson dispense systems for adhesives and sealants
- Develop robotic paths and routines for cycle-time improvement and performance
- Support end-of-arm tooling setups, I/O configuration, and safety mapping
- Execute online and offline robot programming as required
- Perform system diagnostics, recover faults, and solve root-cause issues
- Partner with controls engineers, process experts, and production teams
- Prepare thorough documentation, backups, and project updates per customer and GM standards
- Drive commissioning, debugging, and launch efforts on the production floor
- Solid proficiency in FANUC robot programming (TP language, handling/tooling configuration, iRVision a plus)
- Expertise setting up frames, UTOOL/UFRAME, payloads, and interference management
- Sharp troubleshooting skills with system faults, interlocks, I/O, and alarms
- Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, etc.)
- Proven experience supporting launches and integrations in automotive or high-volume manufacturing
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and collaborate effectively
- Contract Length: 3 months (Immediate start)
- Location: On-site at GM's Spring Hill, TN manufacturing facility
- Schedule: Full-time hours required, some overtime may be needed during launch and commissioning phases
