  • Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:45 PM – 2:15 AM

  • Employment Type: 48-month contract

What's a typical day as an RS Aircraft Technician II? You will:
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and modifications of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures with minimal supervision.

  • Communicate effectively to receive and understand work assignments.

  • Coordinate with Maintenance Team Leads, Shop Team Managers, and Inspection to ensure compliance with FAA and internal documentation requirements.

  • Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and required paperwork accurately and on time.

  • Ensure all work meets quality standards, specifications, and safety requirements.

  • Properly identify, tag, store, and protect customer property and equipment.

  • Operate ground support equipment following standard operating procedures.

  • Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.

  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced technicians.

  • Support shift turnovers as needed.

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas using 6S and Lean principles.

  • Properly use, maintain, and store company-provided tools and equipment.

  • Follow all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements.

  • Use material tracking systems to manage parts demand, squawks, labor charges, and work order sign-offs.

  • Support aircraft certification activities, including participation in flight tests when required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate and at least 2 years of aviation maintenance experience
    OR 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 2 years working on mid- to large-size aircraft.

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
