Location: Honolulu, HI
Compensation: Total compensation plan ranges from $70k–$76k annually (dependent on sales performance), including a car allowance.

Mission of the Role:
The Sales Associate will play a critical role in maintaining and growing the customer base within the assigned Honolulu territory. Success in this role is driven by a deep understanding of the sales process, superb interpersonal skills, and the ability to meet both short- and long-term sales objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
- Travel to customer and potential customer facilities to provide information and support, ensuring business growth and retention.
- Build and maintain strong business, social, and civic relationships with customers to maximize profitability.
- Sell the client's products to all customers in the assigned territory, growing business through proactive customer engagement.
- Anticipate customer needs, propose appropriate solutions, and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Execute sales plans and price adjustments based on management direction.
- Effectively communicate sales plans and manage resources to support sales volume.
- Share new product and service opportunities, as well as feedback from the field, with relevant company staff.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
- Assist in setting sales objectives for the territory with Area Team Managers or Sales Managers.
Requirements:
- Education/Experience: High School Degree/GED required; 1–2 years of sales experience in the Asian food industry strongly preferred.
- Experience in grocery stores is required.
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle (car allowance provided).
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel to customer locations.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP software is a plus.
