SUMMARY
Provide discipline-specific technical support and consultation to maintenance, turnarounds, and commissioning projects under the general direction of CO. Ensure that contract scaffold providers are compliant with assigned specifications and applicable rules and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows safety requirements and expectations, demonstrates model behavior in the application of these requirements and expectations, and appropriately reinforces behaviors in the field. Communicate with Contract Administrator, Contractor Safety, and scaffold supplier superintendents/foremen/crew members with work performed in field.
Provide discipline-specific technical support and consultation to assigned projects.
Responsible for daily audits for adherence to Global Specifications.
Provides data to the Contract Administrator to enable him/her to maintain detail knowledge of all quality or production.
Daily documentation of field audits.
Supports Maintenance Procedure Use Policy and ability to perform technical reviews of procedures

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Knowledge of the assigned discipline specifications and standard practices of scaffold applications.
Competency in field application of OSHA Regulations, TXO Scaffold Requirements, and Global Fall Protection requirements.
Leadership capability and above average communication skills both written and verbal.
Conflict resolution skills to achieve timely and constructive solutions to personal and technical differences.
Demonstration of the ability to solve problems and make competent decisions. Ability to assess productive and safe performance of all contract workers.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
5 years Scaffold application experience Competent Scaffold user training TXO Scaffold Requirements NCCER Certified

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, and comprehend simple instructions, and short correspondences. Ability to write correspondence, and effectively communicate.
Ability to read, and comprehend written specifications, manufacture recommendations, and OSHA regulations.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and applications.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished orally or in writing.
Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in scaffold support and design.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel crouch and use hands to check scaffold systems. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
The employee must be able to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, on roofs and in the pipe rack.
The employee must be able to wear all required PPE, including personal fall protection which is rated for 300 lbs.
Typical environments have many obstructions/challenges related to the routine task of walking.
