Senior Accountant
Boise, Idaho (No daily on-site requirement)
Salary: $90000 to $130,000 annually depending on experience

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, while supporting audits and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and quarterly close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, fixed assets, leases, and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare and verify journal entries, P&L, and balance sheet accounts.
- Support quarterly and annual audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Provide analysis and commentary on assigned accounts for SOX analytics.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Collaborate across teams to resolve accounting issues and drive efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Big 4 or manufacturing industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and cost accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- ERP system experience (OneStream a plus).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy.
