Senior Accountant (Temporary – 3–4 Months)
Location: Reno, NV
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Onsite | Full-time (40 hrs/week)

Payrate: $50.00 per hour
Are you a detail-driven accounting professional with exceptional reconciliation skills and hands-on experience in Yardi and Excel? Join a highly respected property management company operating across California and Nevada. We're seeking a Senior Accountant to support our Corporate Accounting Team at our Reno headquarters for a short-term engagement with immediate impact. What You'll Do
- Perform complex account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness across multiple entities.
- Record and reconcile payroll from September 10, 2024, to current.
- Analyze sales, cost, and balance sheet accounts to ensure proper financial reporting.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in financial systems and general ledger accounts.
- Track and understand transaction flow across multiple systems, including Yardi.
- Support various accounting functions, including AR/AP, accruals, deposits, and journal entries.
- Prepare supporting documentation and maintain organized backup files for audits.
- Assist with system implementations, process improvements, and month-end close activities.
- Review AR/AP aging reports to ensure accuracy and timely resolution.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the corporate finance department.
- 3+ years of corporate accounting experience, preferably within real estate or property management a plus.
- Proven experience with complex reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data validation, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager or similar property management accounting software.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and departments.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
