Compensation Specialist – Hybrid (Local Candidates Only)
Location: Nashville, TN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)
Pay Rate: $35.00/hour
Assignment: Short-term contract

About the Role

Kelly® is looking for a Compensation Specialist to join the HR team of a leading filtration solutions manufacturer in Nashville, TN. This short-term assignment will have you implementing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring fairness and competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compensation strategies, policies, and programs

• Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using salary surveys and internal data

• Advise HR and Talent Acquisition on offers, promotions, and transfers

• Lead annual processes: merit increases, bonus planning, and salary structure reviews

• Ensure compliance with compensation-related laws and regulations

• Prepare and present reports and insights to HR leadership

• Support special projects such as job architecture, pay equity analysis, and incentive plan design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field (CCP certification preferred)

• 5–10 years of compensation or total rewards experience

• Proficient in Excel, HRIS systems, and compensation tools

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
