Ladson, SC
Direct Hire
$95-120k

*Position is fully onsite in Ladson

Kelly is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to work with our client, an industry-leading manufacturing organization, at their US corporate office in Ladson, SC. The Senior Human Resources Manager will:

  • Report to the Managing Director
  • Operate as a “team of one” (no direct reports)
  • Plan, lead, direct, develop, coordinate, and implement HR policies
  • Partner with management to support business objectives
  • Drive succession planning and performance management
  • Lead and manage full cycle talent acquisition
  • Develop, direct, and manage organizational pay strategy, assist with annual compensation planning process, and drive utilization of rewards and recognition programs
  • Provide support and guidance to management on Performance Improvement Plans as needed
  • Provide daily support to management and employees on inquiries and concerns
  • Direct and manage benefits administration, which includes management of company sponsored health plans, FMLA, Workers Compensation, Disability, 401k, open enrollment, and other leave
  • Identify training opportunities; participate in and monitor training programs to ensure success
  • Direct programs that reinforce employee engagement and enhance employee morale
  • Collaborate with leaders to manage change effectively in the organization
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues
  • Direct and manage HRIS and payroll processes
  • Assist in directing the health and safety programs
  • Establish yearly targets and KPIs for HR; maintain and report out achievements monthly   
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ~10 years of HR experience with demonstrated success in leadership, ideally within global companies
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification preferred
  • Solid understanding of HR related federal and state laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for organizational design, change management, workforce and strategic planning, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training and development and talent acquisition
  • Proactive and innovative with commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Strong business and organizational acumen that enables quick understanding of challenges and opportunities
  • Knowledgeable in HRIS
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to use independent judgment to solve people and organizational issues
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Effective communication skills - written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience delivering training, both virtual and in-person
