Pay Rate: $24-$25/hour - based on experience and interview.

What's a typical day as a Setup Technician? You'll be:
• Setting up machines in preparation for production
• Operating machines and adjusting settings as necessary to achieve proper product quality and smooth machine operation
• Loading raw materials
• Inspecting parts with precise measuring tools to ensure quality
• Monitoring and testing operation of machines periodically
• Correcting issues that may occur during the shift
• Checking output in order to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keeping records of approved and defective units or final products
• Maintaining activity logs
• Ensuring compliance with SQF/ISO requirements


This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have proven experience as a setup technician
• Have working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Have an understanding of and willingness to follow and enforce production procedures
• Adhere to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Have the ability to read technical manuals
• Possess analytical skills
• Have attention to detail
• Possess teamwork and communication skills
• Have physical stamina and strength
