Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20.00 per hour Shift: 1st Why you should apply to be a Material Handler:

What's a typical day as a Material Handler? You'll be:
  • Retrieving and verifying stock to fulfill work and customer orders.
  • Receiving incoming goods, checking counts, and recording transactions.
  • Storing materials in designated warehouse locations and maintaining computer records.
  • Delivering materials to work centers and assisting with resolution of shortages.
  • Printing customer orders, preparing shipments, and transferring goods as needed.
  • Maintaining adhesive inventory, preparing materials for outside processes, and keeping the stockroom organized to 6S standards.
  • Conducting physical audits and assisting with other duties as directed by the inventory supervisor and leadership team.
  • Performing shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Safely operating sit down forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Bring a minimum of 3 years' experience in an inventory, warehousing, or distribution center environment that includes shipping and receiving, and sit down forklift operations.
  • Possess general knowledge of inventory systems and strong computer/keyboard skills, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Can read, write, and understand English, and have good communication skills.
  • Lean training or experience is preferred.
