Shipping Lead | Hazleton, PA | $21.00/hr. + 1.00/hr. shift differential| Monday-Friday 4pm-2:30am
This position will require 1 month of training in Chicago, IL (Paid training/all expenses paid)

This is a direct hire Shipping Lead position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.
Position Information:
• Leads, guides, and trains employees performing shipping related tasks
• Verification of all materials received and scheduling of freight and shipping operations
• Accept and schedule customer orders to ensure customer satisfaction
• Oversee driver check-in and work with shipping teams to ensure accuracy/ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and required signatures are obtained
• Receive and unload incoming materials, comparing packing slips to purchase orders for verification of load/order accuracy
• Sorting, counting, unpackaging, of shipments received
• Packaging, labeling of shipments
• Process return shipments from customers
• Tracing of lost shipments and/or customer claims, obtain proof of delivery documentation
• Complete required customer reporting information/documentation
Required Experience:
• 2+ years of administrative experience supporting a warehouse or manufacturing setting
• Experience with transportation, logistics and shipping
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) required
• Ability to provide hands-on leadership to warehouse
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to be assertive and remain calm under pressure
• Professional oral and written communication skills
