Shipping & Receiving Associate
Location: Hockley, TX 77447
Pay: $21 per hour
Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday  | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Full-Time | On-Site temp-perm

About the Role:

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position that involves material handling, inventory management, server assembly, and installation within a high-tech data center environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Load/unload inbound and outbound freight (vehicles/containers)

• Perform quality inspections of incoming/outgoing shipments

• Conduct daily inventory cycle counts and manage stock levels

• Process return shipments via multiple warehouse management systems

• Use laser measuring tools to place server racks with 100% accuracy

• Assemble and install servers, cabling, and components per schematics

• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., straddle stackers, pallet jacks)

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S standards)

• Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the day

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or technical assembly is a plus

• Basic computer skills required

• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and schematics

• Familiarity with electrical safety and static discharge protocols (will train)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
