100% on site in Anna, OH

Responsibilities for this role:
Lead communication to frame plants and AEP AE lines on shipment statuses, asset shortages and all other issues that could impact production. Critical function to ensure 100% on-time shipping to customer plants and promotes “One Team” approach to communication, and problem-solving.
Responsibilities include:
• Lead and Coordinate shipping of engines and component parts to customer plants. Associate is required to be logistics lead serving assigned frame plants, domestic and international. Associate is required to work directly with Production Control (buyer).
• Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the Engine Assembly Department, Frame Plants, Corporate IS, Production Control, Logistics and Consolidation Center departments.
• Lead and manage external carriers on delivery destinations to get engines to frame plants on time. Coordinate pallet asset returns to AEP to prevent downtime to production lines.
• Shipping document creation and issuance for all domestic and international shipments. Customs Clearance Invoice creation and New Model part shipping coordination to international destinations. Responsible for ensuring all documents are compliant with Honda and Trade Compliance Regulations. As an example, the associate is required to make HazMat declaration for parts shipping internationally.
• Manage critical ship times, engine repairs, and return packaging (engine pallets) so no impacts happen to upstream or downstream customers. Lead plans of actions, decision-making and communication to frame plants, carriers, AE leadership, and SCO leadership.
• Support outside of normal work hours/on-call situations to provide quick solutions to customer plants as logistics issues arise.
• Identify, evaluate, and escalate critical issues to management to ensure appropriate allocation of resources in a timely manner. Develop root cause analysis to prevent future repeat issues.
Who we are seeking:
Required Experience:
• 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain logistics or related field
Required Education:
• Associate or Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, or Relevant Education Field Preferred or Equivalent Experience Required
Other job-specific skills:
• Strong Communication Skills, Decision-Making Skills, and Creating Teamwork Driven
Additional Position Factors:
• Open office environment
• Some travel may be required
• 5 hours of OT weekly
