We're looking for a motivated Structural Mechanic I to join our production team. If you're detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about aerospace craftsmanship, this is your opportunity to work with one of the industry's leading aircraft manufacturers.

Assemble and fit structural components and sheet metal parts to meet FAA, customer, and Gulfstream quality standards.

Use tools such as riveting guns, pneumatic drills, countersinks, and more to complete drilling and riveting operations.

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to determine required tasks and rivet specifications.

Ensure all assemblies are defect-free and inspection-ready.

Maintain accurate logs and documentation; input labor data into the system daily.

Align and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, clamps, and other tools.

Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and participate in continuous improvement events (e.g., Kaizen, YIAW).

Follow all safety regulations and contribute to a clean, organized workspace.

High School Diploma or GED required.

1 year of structural assembly experience (or completion of the Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program).

Experience with Solumina and Smarteam is preferred.

Basic understanding of aircraft structures, sheet metal, and fabrication processes.

Ability to read blueprints, scales, and perform basic shop math.

Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in small or restricted spaces.

Willingness to work any shift, including overtime as needed.

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
