Location: Savannah, GA- 31408
Pay Rate: $21.21/hr.
Shifts Available: 2nd shift (3:30pm - 2:00am)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fit detail parts and structures, performing drilling and riveting operations to meet FAA, customer, and Gulfstream quality standards.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and sketches to determine rivet specifications and sequence of operations; align parts using fixtures and clamps for assembly.
- Inspect assemblies for defects before final inspection and maintain accurate logs and labor records in resource planning systems.
- Support safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, care for tools and equipment, work under moderate supervision, and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Must-Haves:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year related structural assembly experience.
- Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
- 1 year experience credit considered for graduates of Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program.
- Must have essential personal skills, which include an aptitude for hands-on craftwork, a professional attitude, attention to detail, ability to work with people and to meet demanding schedules.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints.
- Read and interpret 6" scale.
- Must be able to read a scale and perform basic shop math.

- Must demonstrate good housekeeping and safety practices.
- Ability to work with composite resins and materials.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 10. Must be able to work any shift.
- Must be able to climb ladders/stands/stairs and work in small spaces and/or restricted areas.
