Supply Chain Assistant
Chesterfield, MO
Temporary
$23-28/hr

*Hybrid position (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) after initial onsite training
*Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm


Kelly is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant to work with our client, a world leading manufacturing organization based out of Chesterfield, on a temporary basis through March 2026 with potential for extension and/or getting hired on! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who likes to combine transactional skills and analytical skills on a daily basis.

The Supply Chain Assistant will:

  • Facilitate transactions between the organization and 3rd party vendors, including production, inventory, and shipments through SAP
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams such as Sales and Customer Service, as well as our 3rd party suppliers to trouble shoot any scheduling issues or unplanned disruptions to fulfilling customer orders
  • Process inbound receipts, as well as outbound shipments, in SAP to ensure orders are updated timely and invoices are properly assigned
  • Send load tenders to 3rd party sites and align shipping schedules to match customer needs
  • Validate all processes and transactions within SAP are done accurately and correctly through conducting month end reconciliation processes
  • Perform heavy data entry with some “checking the data” processes done at the end of each month
Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and spot discrepancies
  • Comfortable performing accurate and timely data entry as part of daily transactional work
  • Previous experience or exposure to supply chain, procurement, or logistics is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — able to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Ability to adapt quickly and remain effective in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and thinks critically to support team objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
