Position Title: Substitute Paraprofessional (also known as Education Technician, Teacher's Aide, Instructional Assistant, Classroom Assistant, or Education Assistant)

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fill in for district employees, adhering to school district lesson plans and rules.
  • Provide support and assistance to teachers and students in daily classroom activities.
  • Encourage and facilitate student participation and learning.
  • Adapt instructional methods to fit various student learning styles.
  • For long-term positions, develop lesson plans and assess student work.
