Job Posting: Technical Process Operator
We are currently seeking a skilled Technical Process Operator to join our team. As a Technical Process Operator, you will work under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor or their designee, performing duties without constant supervision. You will be responsible for operating machines, following established procedures, and meeting production targets. The position requires the ability to understand written and oral instructions, communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers, and have a strong attention to detail.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma
- Completion of basic math, blueprint reading, and gauge-reading training
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Safety: Perform pre-operation checks and inspections of machines and associated equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Production: Operate machines at optimal levels to meet or exceed established daily production rates assigned by shop orders.
- Quality: Inspect parts to meet established ISO requirements, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Delivery: Assist in pulling shop orders, support functions, and tooling change-orders to meet established due dates.
- Cost: Track and problem-solve press tooling to reduce costs.
- Inventory: Manage work-in-process (WIP) for both powder and green parts.
- Lean: Participate in lean events and utilize lean processes in daily duties.
- TPM: Perform daily required TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) on presses and associated equipment.
- 5S: Perform daily required 5S activities for presses and work areas.
- Metrics: Gather and post established metrics to monitor performance.
This is a 2nd shift position, with working hours from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The pay rate for this position ranges from $24.50 to $26.50 per hour.
