Temporary HR Receptionist 

Position: Temporary HR Receptionist
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Duration: September to December
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
Location: Southeast Texas Baptist Hospital

Summary/Objective

The HR Assistant will serve as a receptionist and support day-to-day functions in the HR department by managing the file system, HR information systems (HRIS), and providing customer service.

Essential Job Duties
  • Assist employees, new hires, and HR visitors via phone, email, or in person.
  • Manage calls, meetings, and calendars for the VP of HR and assist with HR projects.
  • Primary user of the badging system; issues badges for employees and visitors.
  • Manage employee files and ensure government-required verifications are completed.
  • Contact for students and interns; manage their application documentation.
  • Complete employment verifications and distribute interoffice mail.
  • Organize and order supplies for the HR office, process purchase orders and check requests.

Required Education and Experience
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience in the field.
