Test Technician
**$31.88hour**
*Requires active SECRET clearance to start*
*2nd shift – 2:00PM – 10:30PM Monday through Friday*

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will perform a variety of product tests using detailed work instructions, test procedures, and engineering documents to test and troubleshoot technologically advanced parts/products. Duties will include set up and operation of testing equipment, troubleshooting, documenting test results, and physical movement of materials on to and off testing platforms. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of initiative, strong work ethic, function well under pressure, and maintain a success-oriented attitude while working with diverse teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting, maintaining, and calibrating avionics equipment, SE, and aircraft components.
  • Repairing EW systems, sensor systems and components, wiring harnesses and interconnecting cables.
  • Repairing amplifier and logic circuits; microwave equipment; servomechanisms; radio frequency circuits; video displays; and power supply circuits.
  • Experience working with rectifiers and controllers circuitry.
  • Troubleshoot power supply modules and I/O modules to component level by replacing various chips and components that have high fault rate
  • Experience with using schematics and drawing to troubleshoot electronic circuits.
  • Looked BOM's to identify failed components, ordered parts and maintained stock.
  • Understanding and be able to perform ERP systems (SAP/ETS/Microsoft Access).
     
Required:
  • Four (4) years of relevant experience in electronics, military training in electronic testing/ troubleshooting, or equivalent experience/education in testing processes
  • Ability to work long periods while standing, bending, and walking
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-tasks, set priorities, and adapt to change
  • Flexible and motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read and interpret test data
  • Strong safety focus
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, aggressive, self-starter with strong people skills
  • Ability to work across multiple shifts / weekend work
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience working with written documentation including assembly instructions, drawings, test procedures, and/or shop processes, etc.
  • Experience with torque tools
  • U.S. citizenship
