Tissue Processing Technician

Position Summary:
Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Tissue Processing Technician for a contract-to-hire position at a biotech company in Vandalia, OH. Pay Rate:
$23/hour

Overview:
This company is focused on manufacturing human tissue products for surgical transplantation while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and AATB regulations. This role will give you an opportunity to contribute to the production of life-saving tissue products.

Schedule:

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, Sunday night to Friday morning

Responsibilities:
  • Perform debridement, processing, packaging, labeling, and shipment of human tissue products.
  • Participate in receiving and inspecting incoming unprocessed tissue.
  • Utilize special techniques, instrumentation, and equipment to clean and size tissue according to specifications and protocols.
  • Assist team lead with maintaining inventory levels for core and dock receiving supplies.
  • Perform lab cleaning activities as required by policies, protocols, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Work with Quality and Regulatory staff to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and AATB regulations and requirements, particularly those pertaining to manufacturing.
  • Complete documentation as required in processing according to standard operating procedures and quality standards.
  • Assist with production records as needed.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of universal precautions and sterile technique (e.g., surgical technician, medical assistant, lab technician preferred).
