Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Tool Crib Attendant in Melrose Park, IL. Candidates must have experience with cutting tools, and in a machinery environment, with a solid work history.
This is a contract to hire opportunity, meaning you could get hired directly after 3-4 months, depending on your performance and attendance.

Shifts and pay:
Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
$25/hr.
Responsibilities:
Distribute hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment to employees.
Review & validate fulfilment of Vendor Managed Inventory in Vending Machine(s)
Maintains perpetual inventory of tools, tooling and stock inventory using the computer.
Verifies/Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools/tooling and equipment, and reviews Stock Levels to create requisitions to replenish inventory. May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification on tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
Inspect tools/tooling for damage or wear and tear, locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment and where required, Collect tools at the end of the workday.
Maintain a clean, organized Tool Crib Area and Comply with safety regulations and company procedures.
Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
May assist Shipping & Receiving Department as needs arise. Work Hours – 1st Shi 8:00am - 5:00pm (with Overtime when required)
Qualifications/Skills:
Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
Experience in Receiving, stocking, Pulling, packing, and loading
Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of accuracy, organization, and urgency
Able to work independently and within a team
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
2 – 4 Years Manufacturing in a quick paced environment
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs.)
Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred.
