Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19/hour Hours: 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday - CONTRACT UNTIL JUNE 2026 Why you should apply to be Training Specialist:

What's a typical day as Training Specialist? You'll be:
  • Maintaining safe work practices, life-saving rules, site-specific policies, and conformance to OSHA and EPA regulations in all plant activities
  • Conducting and documenting safety orientations for new hires and subcontractors
  • Implementing and servicing behavior-based safety with a focus on risk communication and procedure enactment to minimize risk
  • Participating in monthly safety committee meetings to enhance safety culture
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for Environmental, Health, and Safety
  • Bring a minimum of 1 year experience as a safety instructor in a classroom or e-based setting
  • Possess proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, with a proven capacity to work independently
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Classroom/onboarding training experience is preferred
