Job Title: Purchasing Specialist
Location: 554 S Yosemite Ave, Oakdale, CA 95361
Pay Rate: $33.00/hour
Schedule: Standard business hours
Key Responsibilities:

Direct and manage storeroom inventory
-
Review and validate open purchase requisitions
-
Communicate with purchasers and vendors; create purchase orders as needed
-
Run daily/monthly reports and maintain accurate records
-
Release blocked invoices and reconcile receipts
-
Execute and post cycle counts
-
Track and report key metrics like cycle count accuracy, safety stock, inventories, and BOMs
-
Support compliance tasks such as step-up cards, health checks, and safety/quality standards
Must-Haves:
-
Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control
-
Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Experience working with storeroom or supply chain systems
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reports and reconciliations
-
Excellent communication skills for vendor and team coordination

Experience with invoice processing and inventory cycle counts
