Job Title: Validation Engineer – High Speed Cable Electrical Validation
Location: Hershey, PA - Offering 100% relocation.  
  Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Validation Engineer specializing in electrical validation of high speed cables. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, validating, and troubleshooting high speed cable assemblies for reliability and performance. Your expertise in DVT, Six Sigma methodologies, and high speed cable design will be crucial to our engineering team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and execute electrical validation test plans focusing on high speed cable assemblies.
  • Lead and support Design Verification Testing (DVT) and analyze test results to ensure products meet electrical performance specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams in troubleshooting, problem solving, and design improvements.
  • Apply Six Sigma tools and methodologies for data analysis, process improvements, and quality assurance.
  • Generate validation reports and documentation to support product development cycles and customer requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in high speed data transmission.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
  • Proven hands-on experience in electrical validation, preferably with high speed cable products.
  • Strong working knowledge of high speed cable design, assembly, and performance criteria.
  • Experience with DVT, test setups, instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscope, TDR), and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology (Green/Black belt certification highly preferred).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements (e.g., USB, PCIe, HDMI, Ethernet) for high speed interfaces.
